Women in Manufacturing and engineering event

Several of our female year 9 and year 10 students were invited to attend the WIME careers event that’s how cases the opportunities available to women in our area and why they should select manufacturing and engineering as a career choice. They were introduced to major employers including Siemens, RWE, Blackrow, Smith and Nephew and many more. Where they spoke to their female employees about how to get into this exciting and growing sector of our local economy.
