CATCH’S Women in Welding event

On International Women's Day, five of our female year 10 students were asked to CATCH to take part in the Women in Welding event organised by CATCH and Lincoln Electric UK. They enjoyed a fantastic day learning how to weld from the CATCH apprentices, gaining a variety of skills and producing their own welds. Chocolate welding, marshmallow towers and motivational speeches by female welders in the industry ended what was an inspirational day for all that attended.
