Year 8 Students Express Themselves Through Art

Winners and runners-up of the Express Yourself Year 8 Inter-House Art Competition. 

Almost 400 Year 8 students took part in an Inter-House Competition to express themselves through Art during Mental Health Week.

Thirteeen-year-old Harry Edwards was chosen as the winner, with Archie Draper, Charlotte Bemrose, Carson White and Hannah Swain as runners-up. 

Claire Stephen, Curriculum Leader for Art, said: “The students used collage materials to express themselves and show the things that make them who they are. There were some really impressive entries and we had a tough job selecting the winners. Well done to everyone.”
