Please Drive Safely, Team Tells Tollbar Students

Year 10 students at Tollbar Academy were warned of the dangers of poor driving and how to stay safe on the roads as they approach the age when they can apply for driving lessons.

As part of Road Safety Week, Joshua Chandos, Dan Smith, and Taryn Taylor, from Performance in Education working for Safer Roads Humber, visited the Academy to deliver an important message to the students.

Joshua said: "We talked to the students about young driver safety, young passengers, speed limits, and the importance of seat belts."

Student Edith Sandiford said: "It was a really interesting talk and I learned a number of things I was not aware of."
