Artists Celebrate The Beauty In Our Natural World

Year 11 GCSE Art students who have produced a large conservation artwork promoting the environment and celebrating its beauty. The artworks were produced by William Airey; Isla Hickson; Sam Mazel; Caitlin Bryant; Grace Hodgson; Rhea Snowden; Phoebe Stocks; and Olivia Adcock, supported by Art Teacher Laura Dandy.

Prior to lockdown, Tollbar Academy Year 11 Art students worked independently to produce a large conservation artwork promoting the environment and celebrating its beauty.

Students used a range of different materials such as acrylic paint, oil pastels, ink and collage to create these pieces, all of which will feature in a virtual exhibition on the Tollbar Academy website.

Art Teacher Laura Dandy said: β€œIt has been a pleasure to teach these Year 11 Art students. Every student has produced a sensational artwork in response to our theme: Art With A Conscience And Celebrating The Beauty In Our Natural World. I am incredibly proud of them all.”
