Tollbar Academy Team Captains, Charlie Ellerby and Robyn Greenway, receive the Grimsby and District Athletics Division One Team Award from Stephen Moon, Principal of Tollbar Academy.
Tollbar and Cleethorpes Academies dominated the Grimsby and District Schools Athletics Competition this year, beating a host of other academies to take the Division One and Two Trophies.
Their success caps a summer of athletics trophies for Tollbar Multi Academy Trust, with Louth Academy winning the Division two Superzone Wolds District Athletics Competition at their first attempt last week, and Somercotes Academy taking second place.
The Grimsby event took place at King George V Stadium and involved hundreds of students from local schools. It was organised this year by Tollbar Academy, with Principal Stephen Moon presenting the trophies.
He said: "This was a highly competitive event as it always is, and every student who took part was a credit to their school. Congratulations, of course, to Tollbar and Cleethorpes Academies for putting in stunning performances and winning both Division Trophies."
