Farewell To Valued Staff At Tollbar Academy

Tollbar Academy Principal Stephen Moon (centre) says farewell to long serving members of staff, Maths Teacher, Simon Feaver and Medical Assistant, Brenda Cottingham.


Three valued members of staff have retired from Tollbar Academy at the end of the academic year.

Maths Teacher Simon Feaver has worked at the academy for 11 years. Principal Stephen Moon described him as a "valued member of staff."

Mr Feaver said: "I have been well supported at Tollbar and have really enjoyed my time here."

Brenda Cottingham started at Tollbar Academy 18 years ago as a Teaching Assistant and then became a Medical Assistant. Mrs Cottingham said: "I have enjoyed my time at Tollbar and I will miss the people here very much."

Also retiring is Ian Taylor who has taught Science at Tollbar Academy for the past eighteen months.

Stephen Moon, Tollbar Academy Principal, thanked the three members of staff for their service. He said: "It is always sad to see valued members of staff leave, but I wish these three all the best in their retirement."
