As you may already be aware, your son/daughter is due to sit a GCSE examination in Religious Studies on Monday 13 May 2013. The Academy is keen to ensure that all students are supported to achieve their full potential in this subject area.

The Government is giving money to schools to help children from lower income families do their very best. This funding is called 'Pupil Premium'.

Following the media coverage regarding the use of horse meat in beef products, I am writing to confirm that all the beef used in the Multi Academy Trust's kitchens is sourced from local providers and is confirmed as completely genuine.

It gives me great pleasure to congratulate you on the excellent GCSE performance of your pupils in 2012.

The Senior Prom will be held at the Forest Pines Hotel in Broughton, on the evening of Thursday 30 May 2013.

The Year 8 examinations commence on Wednesday 6 February and run until Thursday 14 February 2013. The timetable is printed on the reverse of this letter.

Most Year 7 students have settled into the Academy well since the start of term.
